We're thrilled to share some exciting updates on all the great things happening at Oregon Infant Mental Health Association (ORIMHA) this month.

REMINDER: The 2024 Northwest Early Learning and Pyramid Summit invites early childhood administrators, coaches, behavior specialists and state teams to come together for in-depth learning and networking to promote young children's social emotional development and equity in early learning.
Is Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) Consultation effective?
According to a 2023 report from the Center of Excellence on IECMH Consultation, some of the positive outcomes include improvements in children’s social-emotional well-being and a reduction in children’s demonstration of behavior that adults find challenging. Those receiving consultation demonstrate improvements in their social-emotional support for young children, for example changes to knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors that support the promotion of strong mental health in infants and young children.

An Important Update.
As you know, continued growth and development are crucial for all IECMH professionals, ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of skills, knowledge, and ethical practices. ORIMHA captures this ongoing professional development through Endorsement renewal. We are excited to share that Endorsement® renewal will now be captured through an attestation process and is moving to a three-year renewal cycle.
The 2024 Endorsement renewal period is from October 1 through December 31, 2024. Once your Endorsement is renewed, it will be due again on December 31, 2027.
To complete your Endorsement® renewal, please follow these steps:
Login to EASy: https://orimha.myeasy.org/
Select “Renew Endorsement” for each Endorsement you wish to keep active. Consider archiving any old Endorsements you no longer need.
Select each met requirement.
Click “Attest.”
Pay any applicable renewal fees.
You will receive an automated email from EASy confirming that your Endorsement has been renewed. You can also confirm the successful completion of your Endorsement renewal by checking the Endorsement Registry.
El período de renovación del Endoso 2024 es del 1 de octubre al 31 de diciembre de 2024. Una vez que su Endoso se renueve, vencerá nuevamente el 31 de diciembre de 2027.
